Congratulations to Carl Winn, who emerged victorious in his PhD viva conducted at the University of Bristol on 6th September, 2024! 🎉 Carl's Thesis title: The role of host factor Transportins in Influenza virus entry and infection. We celebrated in a restaurant in Clifton, Bristol, together with Katja Klein (Uni Bristol Vet School) and Jason Long (NIBSC).
